Director of Operations
Levy Electric is transforming urban mobility with uniquely designed, built-to-own electric scooters. Based on New York, we are one of the leading US-based companies designing lightweight electric vehicles. In addition to direct sales, we also have recently launched a B2B platform that allows independent operators a turnkey solution for launching their own rental fleets using Levy vehicles and software.
We are now making our first director level hire that will be joining the small (< 5) team at our fastest stage of growth. This person will be directly responsible for all operational activities related to direct sales; including supply chain, fulfillment, and customer support. They will also oversee our growing Levy Fleets business line; including managing new partner launches and scaling infrastructure for our exiting fleets.
We are looking for a self-starter that is highly motivated, technically skilled, and passionate about working in the rapidly growing mobility industry.
Responsibilities:
Oversee Product Support - including managing SLAs and customer satisfaction across digital and in-person retail channels.
End-to-end supply chain management, from international freight shipping via factory locations to end fulfillment to customers, along with management and forecasting of inventory.
Implementing standard operating procedures for retail expansion and service network (repair center) partners across the US & Canada.
Tracking quality and manufacturing related issues and implementing detailed reporting and feedback for manufacturing to address known issues.
Hiring and training of retail / customer support staff.
Developing customer support and repair playbooks for both consumer products and rental fleet deployments.
Responsible for revenue performance and uptime of our nationwide rental fleets, both from a vehicle hardware and software perspective. This will involve frequent dialog with both vehicle and software vendors we work with.
Overseeing new domestic market launches for fleets as well as distribution of consumer products into new international markets.

Qualifications:
4+ years of experience working in highly operational, tactical roles.
Experience in mobility or technology businesses preferred but not required.
Ability to quickly execute in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
BA/BS degree, STEM majors preferred but not required.
Excellent communication with the ability to engage and align internal stakeholders
A strong desire to learn new technology and develop technical expertise
Analytical expertise along with experience leveraging data to inform and support critical decisions
