Our return policy and warranty coverage for Levy products

Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy on new scooters and accessories purchased directly from Levy Electric. The item must be in like-new condition with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation included.

  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused or in like-new condition.
  • All original packaging, accessories, and manuals must be included.
  • A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply depending on condition.
  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

Note: Items purchased through third-party retailers

Products purchased through Amazon, Walmart, or other retail partners are subject to that retailer's return policy. Please contact the retailer directly for returns on those orders.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact our support team with the following information:

  1. Your order number
  2. The item(s) you would like to return
  3. The reason for the return
  4. Photos of the item and packaging (if applicable)

Once your return is approved, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

Standard Warranty

All Levy electric scooters come with a 2-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship on all components. This includes the motor, controller, frame, battery, and all electrical components.

What's Covered

  • Defects in materials or workmanship
  • Motor and controller malfunctions under normal use
  • Battery defects (capacity degradation below 70% within warranty period)
  • Frame and structural defects
  • Electrical system failures under normal use

What's Not Covered

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Normal wear and tear (tires, brake pads, grips, etc.)
  • Misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Water damage from submerging the scooter (riding in light rain is fine)
  • Accidents, crashes, or collisions
  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, scuffs)
  • Damage caused by exceeding the maximum weight capacity
  • Use of non-Levy replacement parts or accessories

Filing a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has a defect covered under warranty, please contact our support team with:

  1. Your order number
  2. A description of the issue
  3. Photos or video demonstrating the problem
  4. The approximate date the issue started

Our team will review your claim and respond within 1-2 business days. If the issue is covered under warranty, we will ship a replacement part at no cost to you. In most cases, we will also provide instructions for self-installation, or you can bring your scooter to one of our retail partners for service.

For warranty claims, you do not need to ship your scooter back. In most cases, we will send replacement parts directly to you with installation instructions.

Extended Warranty

Extended warranty plans are available at the time of purchase and provide additional coverage beyond the standard 2-year warranty. If you purchased an extended warranty, your coverage period and terms are outlined in your warranty confirmation email.
