Propelling Your Non-Electric Scooter Forward: A Step-By-Step Guide
If you have just purchased a non-electric scooter and are eager to get cruising, you may be wondering how to propel it forward by itself. While electric scooters simply require a push of a button, traditional scooters demand a little more interaction from their riders. Position Your Feet: To begin, place your dominant foot on the scooter deck while firmly planting your other foot on the ground beside it. Make sure that your foot on the deck is positioned perpendicular to the scooter for maximum balance and control.
Push Off: Using your grounded leg, push off and apply pressure to propel the scooter forward. Remember, the harder you push, the faster your scooter will go. Make sure that your scootering foot remains firm on the deck to provide stability as you glide.
