Step-by-Step Guide to Pumping Your Razor E200 Electric Scooter Tires

To shop our replacement tires and learn more about the different types of tires for electric scooters, see here.

**We also have videos for replacing tires on youtube. **

Keeping your Razor E200 electric scooter in top condition means ensuring that the tires are properly inflated. Not only does this maintain the scooter’s performance, but it also extends the life of the tires and ensures a safe ride. Here’s a step-by-step guide to pumping the tires on your E200 electric scooter.

Step 1: Locate the Valve Stem
Before you begin, make sure your electric scooter is stable and switched off. Locate the valve stem on the tire — for the E200, it's typically a standard Schrader valve, similar to those on a car or bike.

Step 2: Remove the Valve Cap
Unscrew the protective cap on the valve stem. It’s important to keep this cap safe as it prevents dirt and debris from entering the valve.

Step 3: Check Tire Pressure
Use a tire pressure gauge to check the existing pressure. The E200 scooter typically requires a tire pressure of around 40 psi, but always refer to your scooter’s user manual for the exact specifications.

Step 4: Connect the Pump
Attach the pump to the valve stem. If you’re using a hand pump, ensure it’s designed for a Schrader valve. For an electric or foot pump, select the appropriate adapter if needed.

Step 5: Inflate the Tire
Pump the tire, checking the pressure regularly with the gauge to avoid overinflation. Once the desired pressure is reached, carefully remove the pump to avoid releasing too much air.

Step 6: Replace the Valve Cap
Once the tire is at the correct pressure, replace the valve cap tightly to protect the valve from dirt and to prevent air from escaping.

If you have any questions about maintenance or tire pressure, check the user manual for the Razor E200 or contact the manufacturer directly for assistance.

Maintaining correct tire pressure is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your electric scooter. By following these simple steps, you’ll be able to keep your E200 running smoothly and extend the lifespan of your tires.
