Your Guide to Folding an EcoReco Electric Scooter

Follow these simple steps to quickly fold and store your scooter:

1. Kickstand: Begin by retracting the kickstand on your EcoReco electric scooter, making sure it rests in the upward position.

2. Handlebars: Locate the latch at the base of the handlebar stem, and undo it by pulling out and turning it counter-clockwise. You may need to apply a bit of pressure to unlatch the handlebars. Once unlatched, fold the handlebars down parallel to the scooter deck.

3. Locking Mechanism: If your scooter has an S-shaped stem design (common in EcoReco models), there’s a secondary locking mechanism keeping the stem upright. For this, push and hold the dial at the bottom of the stem while turning the lever counter-clockwise.

4. Fold the Scooter: While still holding the lock release in the base, fold the front wheel and handlebar assembly towards the rear wheel. The handlebar assembly should rest snugly against the scooter deck.

5. Secure the Hook: Locate the rear wheel's hook, extend it down, and secure it to the loop located at the front of the scooter near the front wheel. This keeps your EcoReco electric scooter neatly in place while folded.
