When comparing the CityRider and Mosquito scooters from Fluid Freeride, a number of differences set the two models apart. Firstly, they vary in terms of performance. The CityRider, designed for urban commuting, offers a top speed of 18 mph and a range of up to 10 miles, while the Mosquito, optimized for portability and quick rides, has a slightly lower top speed of 15.5 mph but falls short of CityRider’s range, delivering just 9-12 miles. In terms of power, CityRider offers 300W power while Mosquito offers 350W.
Secondly, with regard to weight and portability, the Mosquito is the lighter option at 23 lbs as opposed to the CityRider’s 28 lbs, making the Mosquito an ideal choice for commuters who frequently need to carry their scooters.
The third area of difference lies in the construction and design. The CityRider features 8.5-inch pneumatic front and solid rear tires and includes front and rear lights for heightened safety. On the other hand, Mosquito boasts 10-inch inflatable tires for a comfortable ride with single lights in the front and rear.
Lastly, the CityRider has a slightly higher weight capacity of 220 lbs compared to the Mosquito’s 200 lbs.
