Comparing the Inokim OX and ANYHILL UM-2 Electric Scooters: A Deep Dive Review
While both the Inokim OX and ANYHILL UM-2 are excellent electric scooters on their own, they differ vastly in several key areas.
Beginning with the power, the Inokim OX boasts a stronger motor with a 1300W peak output compared to the UM-2's 800W. The Inokim OX's larger motor enables it to reach a top speed of 70km/h compared to UM-2's 45km/h maximum.
In terms of range, the Inokim OX sprints ahead with an impressive range of up to 110km on a single charge due to its efficient 21AH LG Li-ion battery compared to the UM-2, which accommodates a range of about 50km with a 15.6 AH battery.
For safety features, both scooters are equipped with disc brakes. However, the Inokim OX comes with full hydraulic system and the ANYHILL UM-2 uses a mechanical system, which may require more maintenance in the long run. The OX further enhances safety with its adjustable suspension, providing a more comfortable ride across diverse terrains.
The design itself presents contrast. The Inokim OX boasts a rigid, sturdy frame that allows a larger maximum load capacity of 120kg. In comparison, the UM-2 features a more sleek, lightweight design with an 100kg max load.
Accessories and other fun features are also plentiful in both; however, the Inokim OX appears to come out ahead with its integrated LCD display and built-in thumb throttle. The ANYHILL UM-2, while still a formidable contender, maintains a simpler, more traditional design without such advanced integrations.
In conclusion, while both are top-tier electric scooters, the Inokim OX leans towards a more feature-rich, rugged design, while the ANYHILL UM-2 offers a simpler, lightweight option more fitted for casual or first-time users.
