Comparing the Inokim OX and the Mercane WideWheel Pro: Which Electric Scooter Wins?
In the world of electric scooters, two models that consistently draw attention are the Inokim OX and the Mercane WideWheel Pro. They both offer a blend of performance, comfort and stability, but they feature distinct characteristics that set them apart from each other.
The Inokim OX stands out due to its off-road capabilities, thanks to the motor power of up to 1300W and adjustable suspension system. It boasts a top speed of 45 km/h and range of 60-70 kms(depends on version), making it ideal for long, explorative rides across different terrains. It carries a larger physical size, which potentially adds to its stability and storage.
On the other hand, the Mercane WideWheel Pro's selling point is its wide, puncture-resistant tires offering greater stability especially for city commuting. It carries a dual motor offering a maximum power of 1000W, with a top speed of 40 km/h and a range of 50 kms. Its climb capability is slightly more than the Inokim OX, making it also suitable for hill climbing. The Widewheel Pro is more compact in size making it easier for storage and portability but weighs more than the OX.
Battery-life wise, the Inokim OX carries a slight edge, particularly in its Eco-mode. However, the WideWheel Pro offers faster charging time depending on the charger used.
In summary, while both scooters have their respective strengths, the choice between the two would depend largely on rider requirement. If off-road capabilities and longer range are priorities, then the Inokim OX is the scooter of choice, but if the preference is for stability in city commuting and shorter range is not an issue, then the Mercane WideWheel Pro would be more suitable.
