Comparing the Mini Giants: Minimotors Dualtron Mini vs Fluid Freeride CityRider Electric Scooters
Electric scooters have been on a roll lately, catering the needs for eco-friendly urban commuting solutions. In this write-up, we compare two popular models - theMinimotors Dualtron Mini and the Fluid Freeride CityRider. The Dualtron Mini touts a strong 500W motor capable of reaching top speeds of 45km/h, while the CityRider utilizes a modest 300W motor with a top speed of 28km/h. With a powerful 22.4Ah battery, the Dualtron Mini boasts a massive range of 75 km, dwarfing CityRider’s respectable 25 km range on its 6.4Ah LG battery pack. The Mini also outdoes the CityRider in terms of build quality, with an aircraft-grade aluminium alloy frame compared to CityRider’s mixed alloy/plastic composition. However, the CityRider triumphs in affordability and is much lighter than the sturdy Dualtron Mini. Both models feature full-suspension systems for rider comfort, but the Dualtron Mini also includes a rear disc brake, while the CityRider makes do with a rear drum brake.
