ANYHILL UM-1 versus Apollo Phantom (52V): A Comparative Review of Two Standout E-Scooters
When choosing an electric scooter, it's important to consider factors such as performance, design, comfort, and power, among other features. Today, we're comparing the ANYHILL UM-1 and the Apollo Phantom (52V) electric scooters to help you make an informed decision.
Starting with performance, the ANYHILL UM-1 is endowed with a maximum speed of 25mph and a range of 31 miles. The Apollo Phantom, on the other hand, boasts an impressively larger ride range of 40+ miles and a top speed of up to 39mph, thanks to its powerful 1200W motor.
In terms of design, the UM-1 comes with a sleek and stylish full aluminium body which is super durable and still noticeably lightweight. In contrast, the Phantom takes on a more rugged aesthetic with a terrific LED package for great visibility at night or in low-light conditions.
As far as comfort is concerned, the UM-1 has a commendable front shock absorber system for a smooth ride while the Apollo Phantom goes a step further with a fully adjustable front and rear suspension for maximum comfort over long distances.
When it comes to power, the Apollo Phantom's 52V system clearly outpowers the UM-1's 36V battery. This provides the Phantom with a longer ride range and a superior top speed.
Choosing between the ANYHILL UM-1 and the Apollo Phantom is largely down to personal needs and preferences. If you prioritise a stylish design and a lighter scooter, the UM-1 may be better for you. If, however, you want more power, a greater ride range and advanced comfort features, the Apollo Phantom is likely the better choice.
