Three formats cover almost every scooter tire on the road.
10 x 2.125. Outside diameter in inches, then width in inches. The most common scooter format.8 1/2 x 2. The same thing written with a fraction. 8 1/2 x 2 and 8.5 x 2 are the same size.60/70-6.5. Section width in millimetres, aspect ratio as a percentage, then rim diameter in inches. This one trips people up because none of the numbers is the outside diameter.If the moulding has worn away, measure the outside diameter of the inflated tire and the width at its widest point. That gets you to the right family; the exact width still matters, so confirm before ordering.

The tradeoff is genuinely a tradeoff. Solid tires end punctures and end the air cushion at the same time; on a scooter without suspension you feel every seam. The rule that holds up: if you have fixed two or more flats in the last year, go solid. If you have fixed none, stay on air.

On the sidewall of the tire, moulded into the rubber. It reads as two numbers: the outside diameter and the width, for example 10 x 2.125 or 8 1/2 x 2. Some scooter tires use a metric motorcycle-style code instead, like 60/70-6.5, which describes width, aspect ratio and rim diameter rather than outside diameter.
They are different widths on the same nominal diameter, and Levy sells them as separate parts with separate SKUs. Order the one that matches your sidewall. Fitting a tire your rim was not built for is a handling and bead-seating problem, not a minor size difference, so we do not publish a cross-compatibility chart for them.
It is a metric tire code: roughly 60 mm section width, a 70 percent aspect ratio, on a 6.5 inch rim. It works out to about a 10 inch outside diameter, which is why the Levy listing shows it as 60/70-6.5 (10"). If your sidewall reads this code, order that specific variant rather than a 10 x 2.125.
On Levy tires the published figures are 50 to 60 PSI for a tubeless tire and 35 to 40 PSI for a tubed tire. A solid tire needs no air at all. For any other brand, use the pressure printed on your own sidewall. Underinflation is the single most common cause of a pinch flat.
If your tire is tubed, a puncture usually means a new tube and, if the tread is worn or the casing is cut, a new tire as well. Tubeless tires have no tube. Solid tires have neither. The Levy 8.5 inch tire is a tubed tire and requires an inner tube, which is sold separately.
