Comparison of the Apollo Air Pro and Apollo Phantom Electric Scooters
The Apollo Air Pro and Apollo Phantom (52V) electric scooters both present excellent mobility solutions, though they differ in some key aspects. Starting with the most notable difference – power capacity, the Apollo Phantom (52V) scooter outshines the Air Pro. With its 52 volts, it offers more torque and speed, reaching up to 39mph against the Air Pro's 22mph. Also, Phantom has a more substantial battery, leading to a longer-ranging capability of about 40 miles on a single charge while the Air Pro rides up to 28 miles.
Interestingly, Phantom comes packed with not one but two brakes - a disc brake and an electronic regenerative brake. This peculiarity makes the Phantom provide a safer and smoother stop even at a high speed which isn’t always the case with the Air Pro, which has a single rear drum brake. Also, the Phantom offers dual suspension, making it comfortable even on rough terrain while Air Pro's rear spring design is more suited to flat surfaces.
Overall, while the Phantom prevails in terms of durability, power, and striking speed, the Air Pro excels in lightness and cost-effectiveness. This makes the Air Pro an excellent choice for casual riders while the Phantom is designed for more adventurous, fast-paced rides.
