Comparing the Pioneers of Electric Scooting: Apollo Air Pro VS. Kaabo Mantis V2
Unearthing the differences between two supremely capable electric scooters — the Apollo Air Pro and the Kaabo Mantis V2 — we have observed critical variances in the ride quality, speed, and overall performance. Apollo Air Pro, built for city commuting, provides a sleek design, boasting a sturdy build quality and fairs moderately on speed, reaching a peak at 15.5 mph. It has a commendable runtime with a maximum range of 20 miles per charge. The Air Pro thrives in providing a comfortable ride over smooth surfaces but struggles on rough terrains due to its smaller 10 inch pneumatic tires.
The Kaabo Mantis V2, on the other hand, is built like an adventurer and is aesthetically more aggressive. Reaching a top speed of an impressive 40+ mph and having a robust dual disc braking system, the Mantis certainly outshines in the performance department. It offers a lavish ride too with its dual shock suspension, and large 10-inch off-road tires that can conquer any terrains. However this comes at a trade-off with its heavier weight and a slightly expensive price tag.
To sum it up, if a slick city commute is the requirement with a sensible price tag, the Apollo Air Pro is a competent contender. However, for the thrill-seekers who don't mind spending a bit more for high-performance abilities, the Kaabo Mantis V2 would fit snugly.
