Comparing the Apollo Air Pro and Segway Ninebot E45 Electric Scooters: A Detailed Review
Electric scooters have fast become a popular way of commuting in crowded cities, and among the leading brands are Apollo and Segway. In this article, we delve into an in-depth comparison of the Apollo Air Pro and Segway Ninebot E45 Electric Scooters to help you make an informed decision. Despite both being high-performance electric scooters, there are distinct differences that set Apollo Air Pro and Segway Ninebot E45 apart.
The Apollo Air Pro, known for its robust design and reliability, offers a range of 30 miles and a top speed of 20 mph. It has a gradability of 15%, making it suitable for moderately steep terrains. Its prominent feature is a dual brake system, adding an extra layer of safety. The Air Pro also features a 350W brushless geared motor and weighs roughly 34 lbs, making it relatively portable. A significant drawback, however, is its longer charge time of eight hours.
On the other hand, the Segway Ninebot E45 produces a top speed of 18.6 mph with a range of 28 miles, slightly less than the Air Pro. Its key selling point is a more efficient, three mode (Eco, Standard, and Sport) energy recovery system, ensuring effective power management. The E45, featuring a 15% hill grade, struggles with steeper inclines compared to Air Pro. It also has a superior charge time of five hours. Weighing in at 36.2 lbs, it's slightly heavier than its competitor.
In summary, the Apollo Air Pro offers a longer range and higher maximum speed, but takes longer to charge. The Segway Ninebot E45, whilst not quite reaching the same range or speed, does however offer an efficient energy management system and shorter charge time. Choosing between the two depends largely on your specific needs and preferences.
