Comparing the Apollo Air Pro and Segway Ninebot Max G30LP: Which E-Scooter Reigns Supreme?
Electric scooters have provided an eco-friendly solution to short and moderate commutes in urban areas. The Apollo Air Pro and the Segway Ninebot Max G30LP are two popular choices on the markets, but they have stark contrasts in their features and performance.
The Apollo Air Pro is known for its contemporary style and robust performance. With a 500W dynamic power, it propels riders at speeds up to 28mph. The range, on a single charge, is up to 28 miles, depending on rider's weight and road conditions. Major allure of Air Pro is its dual suspension for better shock absorption, thus offering a smooth ride even on rough terrains. It also tops the chart with its 15-degree ability of hill climb and a water-resistance rating of IP54.
On the other hand, the Segway Ninebot Max G30LP, a product of the sought-after Segway brand, offers a 350W motor power which reaches speeds up to 18.6mph. It boasts of a longer range of up to 40.4 miles on a single charge. However, its suspension isn't as efficient as Air Pro but the 20% hill gradability tries to make up for it. The Ninebot Max also has an ability to handle water exposure with a higher IP rating of IPX5.
Another key differentiator is the weight. The Apollo Air Pro weighs in at 37 pounds, comparatively lighter than the Segway Ninebot Max, weighing 42.1 pounds, making the former easier to carry around.
Lastly, on the price front, the Apollo Air Pro is somewhat pricier than its rival. Despite a relatively higher price, Apollo Air Pro holds its own with superior speed, suspension, and hill climbing abilities, while the Ninebot Max G30LP stands out for extended range and a lower price point.
