Inokim Mini 2
Comparing the Apollo City and Inokim Mini 2 Electric Scooters: Which Suits You Best?
The realm of electric scooters is vast and varied. Among the prime contenders in this field are the Apollo City and the Inokim Mini 2. Both have their distinct features and advantages, catering to different crowds with distinct preferences and needs.
Apollo City stands out with its powerful 600W motor, ensuring better performance in terms of speed and range. It boasts a top speed of 25 mph, with a range up to 28 miles, a clear winner for those requiring longer commute purposes or for those who enjoy higher speed. Moreover, its 10-inch pneumatic tires and dual suspension assure a comfortable ride even on tough terrains.
However, its 39 lbs weight can be a drawback for people who need to carry their scooter frequently. Since it's not as portable, it can add complexity for multi-modal commuters.
On the contrary, the Inokim Mini 2, powered by a lesser 250W motor, offers a top speed of 15 mph with a 15 miles range, suitable for shorter distances. It compensates with its compact and lightweight design, weighing merely 23 lbs, making it easier to carry around. It performs fairly well on flat surfaces but lacks the comfortable suspension the Apollo City provides.
So when choosing between the two, if portability outweighs the need for greater speed and range, then the Inokim Mini 2 is your go-to. But if your priority lies more on the latter or comfortable rides over rough surfaces, Apollo City is worth considering.
