Both the Apollo City Pro and the Fluid Freeride Horizon are top-quality electric scooters designed to make urban commutes more efficient and enjoyable. However, there are key differences that set them apart. Starting with design, the Apollo City Pro is a sleeker model with a robust build, while the Fluid Freeride Horizon offers a compact, foldable design ideal for easy storage and transport. When it comes to speed, Apollo City Pro scores with a maximum speed of 25 mph, while the Fluid Freeride Horizon can reach up to 20 mph. In terms of battery life, the Apollo City Pro takes the lead with an excellent range reaching up to 28 miles on a single charge, compared to the Horizon's 20 miles. In relation to comfort, the Horizon comes with 8.5 air-filled tires providing good shock absorption, while the Apollo City Pro boasts larger 10 air-filled tires offering a smoother ride. The Apollo City Pro features a dual motor delivering 600W of power, making it a stronger performer on hill climbs than the single motor (500W) Horizon. Lastly, when considering the price, the Horizon is a more budget-friendly option than the Apollo City Pro but the latter’s extra features and stronger performance arguably justify its higher cost.
