Comparative Review: Apollo City Pro versus Segway GT2 Electric Scooters
The Apollo City Pro and Segway GT2 electric scooters are both popular choices among users looking for personal transport solutions. However, they vary in several key areas of specification and performance. Starting with the Apollo City Pro, it's a more robust model, designed to handle tougher urban environments. Its top speed hits 28 mph, and it can handle a 15% incline with ease, thanks to its dual 600W motors. Its range, on a single charge, is a solid 28 miles and the scooter supports loads of up to 265 lbs.
On the other hand, the Segway GT2, although lighter than the Apollo, delivers on comfort and ride ease. With its 10-inch pneumatic tires and advanced shock absorption mechanism, the GT2 assures a smoother ride. Albeit, the speed capacity is comparatively lower at 25 mph. On a positive note, the GT2 takes the lead in range, offering a substantial 31 miles on a single charge. The GT2 can comfortably support a load of up to 220 lbs.
In terms of price, the Apollo City Pro is priced higher due to its advanced performance-centric features. Whereas, Segway GT2 is more affordable and offers good value, especially for leisurely rides around the city.
