Comparing Apollo Ghost 2022 and Inokim Light 2 Electric Scooters: A Comprehensive Review
In the world of electric scooters, Apollo Ghost 2022 and Inokim Light 2 hold key positions, yet they deliver different experiences. While both are high-performance models, there are quite a few distinguishing factors.
Starting with the obvious, the Apollo Ghost 2022 is a beast in terms of power and speed, boasting dual 800W motors to reach top speeds of 34 mph, almost double the top speed of Inokim Light 2’s singular 350W motor that clocks a maximum of 21 mph. Ghost 2022 also has a longer range, capable of travelling up to 39 miles on a single charge, against Light 2’s 20 miles.
However, the Light 2 takes the trophy when it comes to portability. Weighing merely 30 lbs, it proves much lighter and compact compared to Ghost's hefty 64 lbs. For commuters prioritising portability, the Light 2 may be more appropriate.
When it comes to braking, Apollo Ghost 2022 features dual disc brakes accompanied by regenerative braking. In contrast, the Inokim Light 2 has a rear drum and a front V-brake. Notably, though the Ghost's brakes offer superior stopping power, some riders might find the simplicity and lower maintenance of the Light 2's braking system more appealing.
In terms of tyres, Apollo Ghost uses 10 pneumatic tyres, providing superior off-road performance and comfort compared to Inokim Light 2's 8.5 tyres. However, smaller tyre size can lead to better control and agility, a feature optimal for city commuting.
Lastly, the Apollo Ghost offers more advanced features like an optional fingerprint scanner, but it comes with a higher price tag as compared to the more budget-friendly and intuitive Inokim Light 2.
