Comparing the Apollo Light and the Apollo Phantom (52V) Electric Scooters

Electric scooters have become the preferred mode of short trips for many individuals. Among the myriad of choices, Apollo's electric scooter models notably stand out with their stellar features. Today, we will delve into a comprehensive comparison of two top-tier models – the Apollo Light and the Apollo Phantom 52V. Starting off with their design, both scooters showcase quality craftsmanship, but they differ significantly in size and weight. The Apollo Light is smaller and more lightweight, making it easier to handle in tight spots and transport. The Apollo Phantom, being larger and heavier, offers significantly more stability and durability. Both scooters utilize brushless DC motors, with the Apollo Light featuring a 350W motor and the Apollo Phantom 52V, a stronger 1200W dual motor. This indicates a noticeable difference in their top speed – the Apollo Light tops out at 22 mph, while the Phantom can reach speeds up to 38 mph. Similarly, the Phantom's higher capacity battery takes it to a maximum range of approximately 40 miles, compared to the Light's 22 miles. When it comes to ride comfort, the Phantom takes a lead with its full-size deck and advanced hydraulic shock suspension, whereas the Light scooter incorporates spring suspension and has a smaller deck. However, the more compact Light trumps its counterpart when it comes to portability. Both models employ disc brakes for stopping power; the Light sports a front and rear drum, while the Phantom uses hydraulic disc brakes for more stopping power. In terms of lights, the Phantom includes turn signals, a feature not present on the Light. Overall, both scooters offer remarkable features and deliver impressive performance. The choice between the Light and the Phantom mainly boils down to user requirements - the Light is great for portability and commuting, while the Phantom offers immense power, speed, and comfortable rides even on rough terrains.
