Comparing Apollo Light and Segway Ninebot Max: A Detailed Electric Scooter Analysis
When it comes to electric scooters, the Apollo Light and the Segway Ninebot Max are two models that stand out on the market. They both offer superior performance and reliability but differ in several key aspects. Apollo Light is lauded for its power-packed yet lightweight design at 37 lbs, enabling easier portability. It is capable of reaching speeds up to 22 mph and provide a range of 22 miles on one charge. The ride is smooth, thanks to its dual suspension, powerful 350W motor and 8.5 pneumatic tyres.
On the other hand, the Segway Ninebot Max comes with the benefit of being heavier at 42 lbs but has a broader and longer deck, providing greater stability. It outpaces the Apollo Light by providing a speed up to 18.6 mph and an impressive range of 40 miles due to a very strong 551Wh battery, one of the longest in the E-scooter market.
While both these models offer reliability, the Segway Ninebot Max stands out for its longer range and more comfortable ride due to its spacious deck and 10 self-healing tyres. However, the Apollo Light scores high in portability and speed. The choice between the two ultimately comes down to personal preferences and commuting needs, whether it's speed, portability or range that's high on your priority list.
