Comparing GOTRAX G4 and Zero 8: Which Electric Scooter Suits You the Best?
When it comes to electric scooters, the GOTRAX G4 and the Zero 8 stand out as top contenders. These models offer a mix of speed, durability, and unique features depending on what you're in the market for.
The GOTRAX G4 speeds ahead with a maximum of 20 mph while the Zero 8 falls slightly behind, capping at 18 mph for top speed. GOTRAX G4 extends its lead in distance too. It boasts a top range of 25 miles against Zero 8's 22 miles. However, the Zero 8 hits back with a faster charge time, taking only 4 to 5 hours to fully charge compared to the G4's 4 to 5.5 hours.
When it comes to rider comfort, the Zero 8 brings in a dual shock absorber system for a smoother ride while GOTRAX G4 comes with 10 air-filled tires, which provide decent comfort but lack the Zero 8's added shock absorption feature.
Both models come with impressive safety features such as LED lighting and electric + disc brake systems for safe stopping. However, the G4 also features regenerative braking, a feature lacking in the Zero 8 scooter.
In terms of weight capacity, the Zero 8 scoots ahead, carrying up to 220lbs. The GOTRAX G4 can bear up to 220lbs but performs best with users under 200lbs.
Both are ideal electric scooters but your choice depends on your requirements. If speed and range are your priorities, the GOTRAX G4 would be the best choice. But if you prefer comfort and quicker charge time, the Zero 8 might appeal to your needs.
