Comparing GOTRAX GMAX Ultra and GOTRAX G4 Electric Scooters: A Comprehensive Review
In the bustling market of electric scooters, the GOTRAX GMAX Ultra and GOTRAX G4 have carved their niches. However, there are differences between these two models that might determine which one suits your needs best.
Starting with the GMAX Ultra, the adult electric scooter has a 45.6-mile riding range thanks to its 15.6AH battery. It's slightly faster with a top speed of 20 mph and has a 10” pneumatic tire that supports rider comfort. Thanks to its powerful 350W motor, it can handle hills with up to a 15% grade. The Ultra also comes with a LED display, headlight, and taillight for enhanced safety.
In contrast, the GOTRAX G4 is designed with urban commuters in mind. It boasts a 25-mile range, slightly less than the Ultra. Its top speed, however, matches that of the Ultra at 20 mph, but its 10AH battery is less robust. The G4's 10 air-filled tires and dual braking system promise smooth rides and reliable stopping power. The stand-out feature is its dual protection lock system, crucial for city dwellers. However, the G4 might struggle more on steep hills with a 10% grade climbing capacity thanks to its 300W motor.
Ultimately, both scooters share many similar features, such as their 220 lb weight limit, but the choice between the two comes down to individual requirements. The GOTRAX GMAX Ultra, with its extended battery and stronger motor, might be more appropriate for long commutes and hilly areas. On the other hand, the GOTRAX G4 shines in urban areas where security is a primary concern and commutes are shorter.
