The Hiboy S2 and S2 Pro Electric Scooters have become popular modes of transportation for urban commuters and tech-savvy enthusiasts alike, showing the growing interest in eco-friendly transportation. While both models share Hiboy's reliable reputation for durability and functionality, several significant differences set them apart.
The motor power of the S2 is 350W compared to the S2 Pro's 500W, the higher power means the S2 Pro offers higher speed levels up to 19.6 mph while the S2 only offers 18.6 mph. The power also manifests difference in climbing capacity, S2 Pro outclasses the S2, featuring a climbing capacity of 20% compared to a 15% capacity.
When it comes to battery power, S2 Pro leads again with a 480Wh battery as opposed to the S2's 270Wh. The S2 Pro's range reaches up to 25.6 miles per charge (depending on riding conditions) while the S2's only goes up to 17 miles.
Both models feature ‘Hiboy App' for locking your scooter and speed control. However, for a more comfortable riding experience, S2 Pro is equipped with improved dual shock absorbers that S2 doesn't have. The braking system varies as well, S2 Pro has Regenerative Anti-Lock dual brakes while S2 has only one.
The S2 Pro, albeit being more feature-rich, comes at a slightly heavier weight, 36 lbs compared to the S2's 29.5 lbs. Also, it's worth noting the price difference, where the S2 Pro costs significantly more than the S2.
