Comparing the Inokim OX and Apollo Phantom Electric Scooters: Which Scoot Is Best For You?
The scooter market is abundant with options, but this article focuses on comparing two popular choices: the Inokim OX and Apollo Phantom electric scooters.
The Inokim OX shines in motor power, producing peak power of 1300W as compared to Apollo Phantom's 1600W. However, Phantom has the edge in speed, with a top speed of 38 MPH, while the OX falls behind slightly, offering a top speed of 28 MPH.
When it comes to battery life, both models are commendable. The OX runs on a 60V 13.2Ah LG Li-ion Battery, promoting an impressive range of up to 68 miles per full charge, permitting lighter riders and ideal conditions. The Phantom (52V) stands its ground with a range of 40 miles but falls slightly short of the OX's performance.
For comfort and smooth rides, both models incorporate high-standard suspension systems. The OX scooter employs Adjustable Front and Rear Rubber Suspension that complements its 10 x 2.5 pneumatic tires, making it suitable for off-road paths. The Phantom, featuring adjustable front and rear spring suspension paired with 10” pneumatic tires, promises a comfortable ride but stands slightly behind OX when it comes to off-roading capabilities due to its ground clearance.
The Inokim OX may have a slightly superior battery life and off-road capacities, but the Apollo Phantom (52V) overtakes with higher speed and power. For an everyday urban commuter, the Apollo Phantom offers more kick, while the Inokim OX might appeal more to long-distance and occasional off-roading enthusiasts.
