Comparing the Inokim OX and Minimotors Speedway 5 Electric Scooters
Both the Inokim OX and the Minimotors Speedway 5 are leading models in the electric scooter market, but they vary significantly in their design, power, and riding experience. The Inokim OX is renowned for its great off-road capability thanks to its adjustable suspension system and large wheels, and boasts of a 1000W brushless motor, which delivers a max speed of 45km/h and a range of up to 60km. Comparatively lightweight (26kg), the OX is built with lightweight aluminium alloy, making it easy to transport.
The Speedway 5, on the other hand, presents a more robust scooter, offering two 800W motors that can deliver a peak power output of 3600W, thus a higher top speed of 60km/h and a whopping maximum range of 120km. Additionally, this scooter comes with a double suspension system which provides a smoother ride, especially at high speeds. However, at 30kg, it is slightly heavier than the Inokim OX.
Both models offer front and rear lights for increased safety, but the Speedway 5, with its tubeless tyres, provides better puncture resistance than the Inokim OX. Furthermore, the Speedway 5 also tends to be more expensive due to its higher motor power and speed.
