The Kaabo Mantis V2 is a high-performing electric scooter that is equipped with a powerful 2000W motor. This model boasts of impressive speed and acceleration, capable of reaching a top speed of up to 40 mph. Its suspension system is designed for off-road use, making the Mantis V2 ideal for outdoor adventures. This scooter also offers excellent battery life with its 18.2 Ah LG battery, allowing a substantial range on a single charge.
On the other hand, the Apollo Air Pro is more tailored towards city commuting with its compact and lightweight design. It's equipped with a less powerful motor, topping out at 350W, and it has a top speed limit of 15.5 mph – a safer speed for busy urban areas. The Apollo Air Pro has a lesser battery capacity, but it's quite sufficient for short commutes, offering up to 18 miles on a full charge. It also has an impressive braking system, ensuring safety in stop-and-go city traffic.
In terms of ride comfort, while Mantis V2 excels in off-road conditions, Apollo Air Pro stands out in urban environments thanks to its dual suspension system and 8.5-inch air-filled tires, providing a smooth and comfortable ride.
Although both scooters have their unique strengths - fast speed and long range for Mantis V2 and lightweight design and safe speed for Apollo Air Pro - the choice between them essentially boils down to rider preference and use case. Those prioritizing speed and range may prefer the Mantis V2, while those needing a compact, lightweight option for city commuting may consider the Apollo Air Pro.
