Fluid Freeride Horizon (13 Ah)
KABOO Mantis V2 vs Fluid Freeride Horizon: The Ultimate Electric Scooter Comparison
When it comes to evaluating top-tier electric scooters, the KABOO Mantis V2 and Fluid Freeride Horizon (13 Ah) stand as front runners. Both come with inimitable benefits that certainly offer many perks to riders, with some key differences setting them apart.
Starting with the KABOO Mantis V2, it's less expensive and considered more compact and easier to transport due to a folding mechanism. Its biggest selling point is its speed capacity, reaching up to 40 mph, which is considerably higher than most scooters in the market, including the Fluid Freeride Horizon. It's designed to maintain stability with dual 1000W motors and offers dual suspension for smooth rides. However, it only has a range of 45 miles.
On the other hand, the Fluid Freeride Horizon (13 Ah), although not as high-speed focused, has some notable strengths. Its top speed of 25 mph might not be up to par with the Mantis V2, but its range of 62 miles overpowers Mantis' limit. Plus, its 48V 500W motor ensures a decent speed capacity with less energy consumption and provides extended ride times. The Horizon's single suspension might feel a tad bit lacking compared to the Mantis, but it offers excellent comfort at slower speeds and the potential for longer journeys.
In terms of build quality, both models offer robust build frames. KABOO Mantis V2 uses aluminium alloy while Fluid Freeride Horizon is constructed with high-grade steel.
In conclusion, the choice between the two scooters largely depends on users' preferences. If speed and maneuverability are a priority, the KABOO Mantis V2 would be the ideal pick. But, if your preferences lean towards long-range travels and energy efficiency, the Fluid Freeride Horizon will be a better fit.
