Kaabo Mantis V2 vs Xiaomi Mi M365 Electric Scooters: Which One is Best for You?
In the contemporary world of electric scooters, two models stand out; the Kaabo Mantis V2 and the Xiaomi Mi M365. Despite both being a popular choice amongst users, they offer different experiences.
Starting with the Kaabo Mantis V2, recognized for its speed and power, it hosts dual motors with a combined 2000W of power. These motors propel the Mantis to a top speed of 40mph, much faster than the Xiaomi Mi M365's top speed of just 15.5mph. The Mantis V2 has a max range of 40 miles, significantly more than the Mi M365's 18.6 miles. It also boasts a full-suspension system, thereby assuring a smoother ride than the Xiaomi model.
The Xiaomi Mi M365, conversely, is known for a well-rounded, practical ride, with a quiet 250W motor, eco-friendly mode to preserve battery life, and an integrated LED head and taillights for night-time safety. Its lighter weight and foldable design make it more portable and easier to store than the Mantis V2. The Xiaomi scooter also excels when it comes to price, being considerably less expensive than the mighty Mantis.
In terms of battery life, the Mantis V2 leads with a bigger battery that can last for about 40 miles, while the Mi M365 lasts for up to 18.6 miles. However, the Xiaomi model charges faster, taking around 5 hours compared to the Mantis's 6-8 hour charge time.
The Mi M365's simple and intuitive brake system, featuring a disc brake and electronic anti-lock brake system, stands in contrast to the Mantis V2's semi-hydraulic brake system, which, while robust, may be more complex for beginner riders.
In conclusion, while the Kaabo Mantis V2 is more suited to speed enthusiasts and longer travels, the Xiaomi Mi M365 is a quieter, more portable, and cost-effective option for shorter everyday travels.
