In a sea of electric scooters, the Minimotors Dualtron Storm and the NAMI BURN-E 2 MAX stand apart as true powerhouses. Though they both have ample power, range, and speed, there are several key differences for potential buyers to consider.
The engines of both scooters are worth attention. Dualtron Storm has a dual motor Peaking at 6640W, while the NAMI BURN-E 2 MAX boasts a 8400W engine. This makes BURN-E 2 slightly more powerful with its top speed restricted to 62mph, compared to Storm’s 50 mph.
Battery life is another element to consider. The BURN-E's 72V 35Ah battery gives a super long range up to 100 miles on one charge, depending on driving conditions, particularly impressive in the electric scooter market. However, Storm holds its own with an estimated range of 80 miles due to a 72V 31.5Ah battery.
In terms of suspension, Storm features a 45-step adjustable suspension system allowing the rider to adjust to their comfort, while BURN-E 2 streamlines the experience with a fully adjustable front and rear air suspension system.
On the weight scale, the BURN-E 2 MAX, weighing at 105 lbs is significantly heavier than the Storm, which weighs around 88 lbs. Hence, if portability is a key factor for you, the Storm might be your choice.
Both scooters have similar build and quality, though the Dualtron Storm has the added advantage of a swappable battery pack. Ultimately, your choice will come down to specific need. If you crave raw power, the BURN-E 2 MAX takes the cake, whereas for adjustable comfort and better portability, the Dualtron Storm comes out on top.
