Comparative Review: Okai Neon Vs Apollo City Electric Scooters
In the realm of electric scooters, the Okai Neon and Apollo City models stand out. This review presents key differences between the two models.
Beginning with design and construction, Okai Neon's aviation-grade aluminum frame offers superior longevity. It’s somewhat bulky compared to the Apollo City’s lighter and more transport-friendly design. Performance-wise, Apollo City takes the lead with a top speed of 25 mph, compared to Neon's 20 mph.
Battery life and range differ as well. Apollo City offers an impressive 28 miles range on a single charge, while Okai Neon falls a bit short with a range of 20 miles. The charging time however, is better in Neon – taking 4 hours to reach full charge, compared to Apollo City’s 4 to 9 hours.
Suspension and ride comfort show divergence too. The Apollo City provides dual spring suspension absorbing city road shocks providing a smoother ride compared to Okai Neon’s stiffer, non-adjustable suspension. But where Neon lags in ride comfort, it makes up with its superior braking system.
Last but not least, the Apollo City offers LED lights on the front, back, and sides along with a bell for safety. Okai Neon also provides front and rear LED lights but lacks additional side lights or a bell.
Concluding, your choice between Okai Neon and Apollo City should depend on your primary requirements: style vs portability, speed vs charge time, ride comfort vs braking, and additional features.
