Comparing the Segway Ninebot Air T15 and Apollo Air 2022 Electric Scooters: A Complete Guide
When it comes to selecting electric scooters, the Segway Ninebot Air T15 and Apollo Air 2022 are two top contenders.
The Segway Ninebot Air T15 is renowned for its outstanding design and energy efficiency. It features an impressive foldable design that allows for easy portability. The scooter's frame is built from a lightweight, yet sturdy aluminium alloy, ensuring durability while cutting down on weight. The maximum speed is around 20 kph, which is suitable for short commutes and errands. Its innovative regenerative braking system converts a portion of energy back during braking to extend battery life. However, it has a shorter range, about 12 km, without regenerative braking activation.
In contrast, the Apollo Air 2022 excels in speed and range, delivering a top speed of 25 kph and a max range of up to 30 km. It comes with a dual suspension system, guaranteeing more comfortable rides over bumpy roads, a feature the T15 lacks. However, it is heavier and not as compact as the Segway model when folded. The Apollo model also includes a tyre guard, which is an extra safety feature that the T15 doesn't offer.
In terms of power, the Ninebot Air T15 commands this sector with its 250W battery compared to the Apollo Air's 200W. But with their 750W peak power, the Apollo comes out ahead in terms of peak power and acceleration.
The Apollo Air 2022 beats the Segway Ninebot Air T15 in terms of raw power, range, and rider comfort. However, if compactness, design aesthetics, and energy efficiency matter most, the T15 would be the superior choice.
