Comparing the Segway Ninebot ES4 and the Okai ES20 Neon: Which Electric Scooter Reigns Supreme?
In the rapidly evolving landscape of personal transportation, electric scooters have become increasingly popular. Among the numerous models available, the Segway Ninebot ES4 and the Okai ES20 Neon stand out. However, they are not created equal. The Segway Ninebot ES4 takes the lead in range per charge, offering 28 miles compared to the Okai ES20 Neon's 25 miles. Furthermore, the Ninebot ES4 delivers a max speed of 18.6 MPH, whereas the Okai ES20 Neon runs at 15.5 MPH.
Yet, the Okai ES20 Neon is not to be overlooked. With its robust design and higher weight limit of 265 lbs compared to Ninebot ES4's 220 lbs, it suits heavier riders better. Also, the Okai ES20 Neon features a more comprehensive LCD display, providing detailed ride stats in contrast to the more minimalist information presented by the ES4's LED display.
Both scooters show strength in their construction validity and safety aspects. That said, if we talk about convenience in terms of portability, the Ninebot ES4's model's weight gives an advantage. At about 30.9 lbs, it is considerably lighter than the substantial Okai ES20 Neon, which weighs 50 lbs.
Yet, the Ninebot ES4's significantly higher price demands consideration. As such, the final choice ultimately relies on what you are looking for in an electric scooter: speed and range or sturdy design and rider weight capacity.
