Electric scooters have increasingly become popular over the recent years, and the Segway Ninebot Max and Fluid Freeride CityRider are two of the top contenders. The Segway Ninebot Max is known for its commendable range and sheer strength, featuring a 40.4-mile range with a maximum speed of 18.6 mph. It comes with 10-inch pneumatic tires and has a 220 lb load capacity. Conversely, the Fluid Freeride CityRider has a maximum range of 10-12 miles and a top speed of 18 mph. It stands out with its dual suspension, LED lighting system and its 165 lb load capacity. In terms of battery, the Segway Ninebot Max is superior with a charging time of 6 hours compared to the CityRider’s 3-4 hours for an 80% charge. A stark contrast lies in their wheels, the Ninebot Max has tubeless pneumatic tyres that provide a smooth ride even on rough surfaces, whereas CityRider comes with solid rubber tyres best for smooth surfaces. Both are foldable for convenience and have built-in app functionality. However, the Ninebot Max is heavier at 41.2 lbs compared to CityRider's 28 lbs. Price-wise, the Ninebot Max is at a higher range compared to the CityRider.
