Comparing Top-End E-Scooters: Segway Ninebot Max Vs Vsett 9+
When choosing an electric scooter, performance, convenience, and price generally top the list of considerations. In this review, we present a comparative analysis of two top-end electric scooters – Segway Ninebot Max and Vsett 9+.
Starting with speed and range, the Segway Ninebot Max dominates with a maximum speed of 30 km/h and a maximum distance of 65 km on a full charge. In contrast, the Vsett 9+ has a maximum speed of 25 km/h and gives a distance of 45 km on a full charge.
However, the Vsett 9+ takes the lead when it comes to the hill climb. It can scale grades of up to 25% compared to Ninebot Max’s 20%. This prowess is largely thanks to its powerful 600W motor, against the 350W motor found in the Ninebot model.
When it comes to rider comfort, Vsett 9+ excels. It features front and rear spring suspension while Ninebot Max only has a rear wheel shock absorber. Weight capacity, however, is on par, with both models supporting rider weights up to 100kg.
Portability has become a key factor for many e-scooter owners. The Ninebot Max is bulkier at 19.1 kg compared to Vsett 9+ which weighs 18 kg. Both offer a folding design; however, the Vsett 9+ is compact and easier to carry.
From a pricing perspective, project the Vsett 9+ leans towards the higher-end. However, considering its advanced features and performance attributes, its value is evident.
In conclusion, the Ninebot Max offers long-distance travel and a higher speed, but lacks in motor power and rider comfort. The Vsett 9+, meanwhile, offers superior hill climbing performance and rider comfort but is restricted in speed and range. The ultimate choice depends on your personal preference and needs.
