Comparing the Swagtron Swagger 5 and the Apollo Light Electric Scooters: Which One Outshines?
When it comes to electric scooters, both the Swagtron Swagger 5 and the Apollo Light offer impressive features and performance. However, they also each possess unique characteristics that set them apart. The Swagtron Swagger 5 is widely recognized for its lightweight design and affordability. The scooter weighs only 26lbs, making it easy to carry when not in use. Furthermore, it has a maximum range of only 11-12 miles on a single charge, making it suitable for shorter commutes. On the other hand, the Apollo Light, while slightly heavier, stands out when it comes to longer-range, delivering up to 20 to 22 miles on a single charge. It also features a more robust motor that provides a top speed of up to 20mph (compared to Swagger 5's 18mph). Moreover, the Apollo Light comes with an advanced suspension system lacking on the Swagger 5—an essential feature for those prioritizing comfort. However, these additional features make the Apollo Light pricier than the Swagtron Swagger 5. Both scooters excel in different facets. Therefore, choosing between the two ultimately depends on one's specific needs and budget.
