Both the UScooters Booster V and the Segway Ninebot ES2 are popular entries in the growing electric scooter market. The Ninebot ES2 by Segway impresses with its cool, futuristic design and colorful atmospheric lights, while the Booster V from UScooters boasts a straightforward, more practical look.
In terms of speed, the Booster V outpaces the ES2 with a top speed of 24 mph compared to the Ninebot’s 15.5 mph. Booster V's battery is superior as well, offering a maximum range of 24 miles on a full charge, while the ES2 has a maximum range of 15.5 miles.
Additionally, the Booster V has a weight capacity of 280 lbs which is significantly more than the Ninebot ES2's 220 lbs. However, the ES2 shines when it comes to suspension – the ES2 handles better on rough surfaces as it features front and rear wheel shock absorption.
The Booster V is also much lighter, weighing 24 lbs which makes it more portable compared to the ES2’s 27.6 lbs. And while the ES2 has an LED display, the Booster V offers a more detailed display with a trip meter and speed settings.
In the field of safety, both models shine. Both are equipped with front and rear lights, but only the Booster V offers turn signal lights. Yet, the ES2 pairs with an app that includes a security lock feature, and this is not available for the Booster V.
