Head-to-Head: UScooters GT Sport Vs. Minimotors Dualtron Storm
When it comes to electric scooters, the UScooters GT Sport and the Minimotors Dualtron Storm are two models that often come head-to-head. The UScooters GT Sport, billed as a portable and durable city commuter, catches the eye due to its light weight utility at 26 lbs. It has an impressive speed of 30mph and a range of up to 30 miles.
Contrastingly, the Dualtron Storm, with its all-round performance, offers a monstrous speed of 55 miles per hour and an incredible range of 80 miles. It's heavier at 101 lbs, but also comes with a replaceable battery–a unique feature amongst electric scooters.
The GT Sport is equipped with 10 air-filled tires and a full suspension system, making for smooth rides. The Storm, on the other hand, boasts 11 tubed tires and a robust dual suspension, equipped for off-road travels.
As for the power system, the GT Sport operates on a 700W BLDC HUB motor, whereas the Storm’s dual motors can output an incredible 6640W.
Both scooters are safe to ride; GT Sport has a rear disc brake and a front electric brake, whereas the Storm incorporates hydraulic brakes with ABS standard and regenerative braking.
For those prioritising portability and affordability, the GT Sport fits the bill. However, if speed, power, and long-range capability are higher priorities, and cost isn't an unbearable obstacle, the Dualtron Storm is the clear winner.
