UScooters GT Sport vs. Segway Ninebot ES2: A Guided Comparison of Leading E-scooters
If you're on the hunt for an electric scooter, chances are you're running across a vast array of options. Two of the more popular options are the UScooters GT Sport and the Segway Ninebot ES2 – and we're here to help you determine which is the best purchase for you.
Starting with design, the Ninebot ES2 sports a sleek, futuristic appeal, while the GT Sport has a more rugged look but with an added benefit of durability. Both have folding designs for easy transportation.
In terms of performance, the GT Sport has a slight edge. It has a top speed of 25mph, outpacing the ES2's 15mph. The GT Sport also wins in terms of range, offering a 30-mile range compared to the ES2’s 15 miles.
Both scooters have similar features, including an LED headlight, electric brakes, and bell, but the ES2 shines with its additional feature, the ambient underglow lights, and cruise control. In contrast, GT Sport has a rear coaxial cable offering better stopping capability.
When it comes to weight, the ES2, at around 27.5 lbs, is substantially lighter than the GT Sport, which weighs around 36 lbs. However, the GT Sport's sturdier build allows it to accommodate riders up to 385 lbs, while the ES2's weight limit is approximately 220 lbs.
Finally, the price point may be a deciding factor. The GT Sport is more expensive compared to ES2, reflecting differences mainly in speed, range, and build quality. But if you are seeking a reliable, stylish, and value-for-money scooter, and performance is not the top priority, ES2 may be a better choice.
