Comparing the GOTRAX GMAX Ultra and the GOTRAX Apex Electric Scooters
Speed, range and versatility are key factors when choosing an electric scooter. The GOTRAX GMAX Ultra and the GOTRAX Apex are two high-performing options from the popular scooter brand. The GMAX Ultra is known for its high-capacity 15.6AH battery and longer range of 45 miles, providing reliable power for commuters or long rides. Its 10-inch pneumatic tires provide a smooth ride and improved shock absorption. Combined with a 350W motor, this model offers an impressive maximum speed of 20mph. Furthermore, the Ultra is equipped with a digital display offering information on speed, mileage, and battery status.
The Apex, however, is designed with less robust features. It is equipped with a smaller 6AH battery, offering a limited range of 15 miles. Its 8-inch solid rubber tires don’t provide the same level of shock absorption but offer durability. Its 250W motor provides a maximum speed of 15.5mph, suitable for casual riders. The Apex doesn’t have a digital display, but its LED indicator gives you a clear view of the battery status. While the GMAX Ultra caters to frequent riders and commuters, the Apex is designed as a well-balance scooter for periodic or new riders. Each scooter is crafted with durable frames and folding design, allowing easy storage and transportation.
